Attorney Michael D. Zatlin became a partner at Roberts & Zatlin in 2021. Michael concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of family law and probate, including divorce, separation, child custody and child support, spousal support, domestic violence issues, adoptions, and guardianships.
During law school, Michael served on the editorial board of the Western State Law Review and participated in Western State Moot Court competitions for several years. He graduated with high honors and received the Witkins Award for Professional Responsibility.
Prior to partnering with Kim Roberts, Michael practiced law at other respected family law firms in the Murrieta area, where he gained a reputation for being both detail-oriented and focused on the big picture: his clients’ families and their future. Colleagues describe Michael as highly capable, professional, and organized. Clients appreciate those traits as well, and frequently praise Michael’s responsiveness, compassion, and ability to fight for them.
Michael understands that clients are often in a vulnerable position when they seek his services, facing an unfamiliar legal process and an uncertain future. He takes pride not only in achieving a favorable outcome for clients in their family law matters, but in helping them to feel informed and supported throughout the process.
